About CrewLedger

Every job on one board. Customers told. Friday squared away.

Why it exists

The owner of a 2 to 5 truck shop cannot see where each job stands without calling or texting every tech. Homeowners call the office asking 'when is he coming?', finished jobs sit uninvoiced because the hours and parts are on a crumpled pad in the truck, and by Friday the owner cannot say what got done, what is still open, or whether the week made money. The founder's hypothesis (who is doing each job, whether it is finished, whether the customer was updated, whether the paperwork is complete) matches the research signal. Big field-service suites cover this, but they are built and sold for larger firms. Small shops find them heavy and fall back to the whiteboard.

Who it is for

Owners of small residential plumbing shops (and, after that, HVAC shops) with 2 to 5 trucks. The owner still runs a truck some days and does dispatch from a phone or a desk in the shop. Today they use a whiteboard, paper work-order pads, a group text with the crew, and QuickBooks Online for invoices. Our recommendation is to start in one US metro.

When my trucks are out on six jobs and my phone keeps ringing, I want to see who is on each job, whether it is done, whether the customer was told, and whether the paperwork is in, so I can stop calling my techs and finish Friday knowing the week made money.

What it does

What makes it different

CrewLedger does one day's jobs on one board and does it end to end. The crew gets a text link they open on their phone, with no app to install. Every tap on that link moves the job on the owner's board, sends the customer update, and logs hours and parts. The finished job turns into an invoice draft that waits for the owner's approval. The large suites spread 15 to 20 modules across a calendar, CRM and marketing. CrewLedger is set up in under 5 minutes and priced as a single $199 plan for the whole shop. Note: two unrelated products already use the CrewLedger name (crewledger.app for GC job costing and crewledger.ai for contractor collections). The landing page must say 'for plumbing and HVAC shops' right in the hero so visitors do not confuse them.
